Invoxia Are now accepting preorders for their new Triby IO
smart speaker which is priced at £ 160 or US$ 199.
The new connected Triby IO smart speaker has been
specifically created to integrate seamlessly with existing web technologies and
Internet of Things services such as IFTTT and Amazon Alexa. Invoxia explain
more about their latest smart speaker which is now available to preorder with
shipping expected to take place in Q1 2017.
Made for the heart of the connected home, it has
been optimized to integrate with a range of partners and also offers
sophisticated native services. When it’s time to wake up, Triby puts on my
favorite radio station, displays the weather, brightens slightly my bedroom HUE
lamp and turns on the heater in the bathroom.
Triby offers to
make an intercom call to other Triby in my house in just one click, to tell
everyone it’s time to eat. When my Fitbit daily goal has not been achieved by
7pm, Triby notifies me I should start a workout session. If I do so, Triby
adjusts the temperature, plays music, displays the exercises, and counts the
time.
