Blu has released Vivo XL2. Succeeding the original Vivo
XL from last year, the Blu Vivo XL2 is a pretty large handset with rather
modest features (but definitely not bad for its price point).
The Vivo XL2 sports a 5.5-inch 720p display and has
a micro pattern on the back - creating "a metallic sunburst effect."
Powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, the phone further offers DTS
surround sound, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage space, and a 3150 mAh
battery. There's a 13 MP camera on the back of the new Vivo, plus an 8 MP
selfie camera on the front. The not so great thing about the handset is that it
runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and it's not clear if it's going to be updated to
Android 7 Nougat.
The Blu Vivo XL2 can be bought unlocked from Amazon
for US$ 149.99, being available in two color variants: blue and gold.
Do note that the Vivo XL2 is a GSM/LTE device,
meaning it will work on AT&T, T-Mobile and other GSM/LTE networks, but it
can't be used on Verizon, Sprint, or US Cellular.
