AOPEN has unveiled a couple of new
hardware systems it has created one of which is the AOPEN Chromebase Mini
Chrome OS tablet which has been designed for commercial applications such as
digital signage or kiosk applications.
The AOPEN Chromebase Mini takes the form of a 10.1
inch all in one PC which is equipped with Google’s Chrome operating system and
is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A17 processor supported by 4 GB of RAM.
The 10.1 display offers users a resolution of 1280 x
800 pixels and offers 10 point multitouch support, internally the system is
equipped with 16 GB of eMMC 5.0 storage and is fitted with a two megapixel
front facing web camera, stereo speaker and dual microphones. As well as
connectivity provided by both Bluetooth 4.0 and wireless 802.11ac.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide
availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to
