Huawei Enjoy 6s
Huawei has already outed a slightly improved version of the device,
called Enjoy 6s. This was created in partnership with China Mobile, the world's
biggest carrier by number of subscribers.
The Enjoy 6s has similar looks to the Enjoy 6, but
changes some things on the back, where the LED flash has a new placement. It
has a metal construction with chamfered edges that should aid grip. It's 7.6 mm
thin, 0.3 mm slimmer than the Enjoy 6.
The 5-inch 720p AMOLED screen from that phone has
been swapped with an identically sized IPS LCD, that also has the same
resolution. Unlike the MediaTek-powered Enjoy 6, the 6s comes with the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 435 chipset, which has a 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU. Both
handsets sport 3GB of RAM, but the 6s doubles the 6's storage up to 32GB.
The cameras have remained the same. We get a 13 MP
main snapper with f/2.2 aperture and a 5 MP selfie shooter. Oddly, the Enjoy 6s
features a big downgrade in terms of battery capacity, having to make do with
just 3,020 mAh compared to the Enjoy 6's 4,100 mAh cell. The new model also
gets dual-SIM functionality just like its older sibling.
The Enjoy 6s will be available in gold, silver, and
white for CNY 1,599 (US$ 232 or
€ 215). That's more than what Huawei is asking for the Enjoy 6, which is priced
at CNY 1,300 (US$ 188 or € 175). As with the entire Enjoy range, it's likely that
this model will never officially be sold outside of China.
