Nexbox A1
Newest from China is the
Nexbox A1, which is an Amlogic S912 powered device with decent-ish specs. This
include: 2GB of RAM, 16GB ROM and an Android 6.0 installation.
The highlight of this device seems to be 4K x 2K H.265 decoding. That, and system flexibility; it features 2.4GHz + 5GHz WiFi, which considering the kind of interference 2.4GHz networks have, is definitely a great addition… and perhaps something that will very soon be a standard.
The device is currently
only on pre-sale though, and should be shipping in a month or so. It might be a
good idea to wait for reviews, for very similarly spec’d device can be had for
a lot less.
