Meizu X
Meizu is plan to unveil a new Meizu X smartphone
on November 30 at a special event in China. The announcement is advertised also
as a new Helio chipset premiere under the Make Helio Great Again slogan.
Previous reports suggested the all-metal Meizu X
will be powered by a new Helio X30 chip, which is manufactured by the premium
10nm process. The Helio X30 would bring a new deca-core tri-cluster processor
with 4x Cortex-A73 at 2.8 GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 at 2.2 GHz, and 2x Cortex-A53 at 2.0 GHz.
The GPU in charge of graphics should be the PowerVR 7XT quad-core GPU, the same
one used in the iPhone 7 series.
Today's newly leaked pictures reveal the back of the
Meizu X. While we still can't get an actual idea about the screen size, display
and camera resolutions, we can at least see the antenna-less metal back and the
ring flash around the main camera. Meizu has found a way to hide the antennas
even better than on the Pro 6 and MX6, maybe it has pushed them around the top
and bottom.
