Jolla C
Jolla, a
young Finnish company founded by ex-Nokia and MeeGo employees, has launched its
second smartphone, the Jolla C. The phone is
part of the new Sailfish Community Device Program meant for developers, who
will get access to exclusive live community sessions, invitations to community
events, and the phone itself.
The phone
will come with a stock version of Sailfish OS 2.0 with no third-party
applications installed. On the hardware side you get a 5.0-inch 720p IPS LCD,
quad-core 1.3GHz Snapdragon 212, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage with microSD support, 8
megapixel rear/2 megapixel front cameras, and 2500 mAh battery.
Only 1000 of
these devices will be made for the program members.
