ASUS ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 Inch


The ASUS ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 has a larger 5.5 inch display compared to the first ZenFone 3 Max that only has a 5.2 inch screen. It’s also more powerful with an octa core Snapdragon 430 chipset and still has the signature 4100 mAh high capacity battery.

ASUS claims that the ASUS ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 (also known as ZC553KL) can last up to 19 hours of Wi-Fi browsing, 3 days of music playback or 38 days of 4G standby. It supports fast battery charging and powerbank function to re-charge other gadgets. There’s also a Super Saver mode that can extend a 10% battery life to as much as 30 hours of standby. 

Aside from its 1.4 GHz octa core Snapdragon 430 processor, the ASUS ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 also has 3GB of RAM and ZenUI 3.0 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There’s 32GB of internal storage, 100GB of free storage on Google Drive for 2 years, 5GB of free storage on ASUS WebStorage for life and its second SIM card slot doubles as a microSD card slot that accepts up to 128GB memory cards.


Its 5.5 inch display has full HD resolution, bluelight filter that reduces eye strain and a 2.5D Arc glass with slightly curved edges. The main camera is a 16 Megapixel module that employs what ASUS calls TriTech Autofocus System. It’s composed of Laser autofocus, phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and continuous autofocus (CAF). There’s also an 8 Megapixel front camera with Beautification feature.

The ASUS ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 can connect to 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi networks. It also supports USB OTG function. There’s a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device for security. Other sensors include a gyroscope for augmented reality games, compass and accelerometer.

The official price of the ASUS ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 in the Philippines is PHP 10,995. It comes in four colors : Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver, Sand Gold and Rose Pink.
