Xiaomi Redmi 3S+
A few weeks back we thought it was about time that
Xiaomi started taking offline markets a bit more seriously. Well, fast forward
to now and there’s already an offline-only phone from the company.
Known as the Xiaomi Redmi 3S+, the phone join the
Redmi 3S family with a 5-inch 1280 x 720p display, a Snapdragon 430 SoC,
2 GB/32 GB RAM/ROM, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front facing camera,
and a 4100 mAh battery.
All of this, for 9,499 INR (US$ 142). A majority of
smartphones are sold in the offline market in India, and the Redmi 3S+ seems
like a logical move. It’ll be available across major chains across a total of
7,000 stores, mainly targeting tier 2 and 3 cities.
