Xiaomi Mi5c (rumor)

Earlier we had posted an article regarding the leaked pictures of Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi5c.

It is showing a name “Meri”, we don’t know the correct meaning of this name but it looks like some sort of code-name for the device. The phone might be the upcoming Mi5c. The phone has a similar physical home button on the front as previously seen on Xiaomi’s Mi5 series. The phone will have a 5.1-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, that will have a pixel density of 424ppi.

The smartphone has scored nearly 63,000 in AnTuTu which is no-where close to the Flagship scores of above 1,00,000, thus one fact is clear that the device is not going to be a Flagship smartphone. It will get powered by an Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, which according to us is the upcoming Mediatek Helio P20 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM along with a Mali-T864 GPU.

The phone has a compact design as previously seen in the Mi5s and the Mi5s Plus. On GeekBench, the phone has scored 758 in Single-Core and 3105 in Multi-Core which is a moderate score. The phone will offer 64 GB of internal storage and will run on MIUI 8 based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
