Sharp M1
Sharp has a new phone,
the Sharp M1 and while it does have some cool specs, it reminds of us of
another device.
Sharp has put a 5.5” Full
HD display with gorilla glass on the M1, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage
and a MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. There is a 13MP camera on the back
and another 13MP wide angle camera in front for selfies. It will also come with
a SD card slot that can take up to a 64GB card, and a 2600 mAh battery to supply
power. The Sharp M1 will ship with Android 6.0 and have LTE (FDD and TDD)
support.
It does look the
Xiaomi Mi 5 judging from the curved back which meets up with the front, but it
still has some features different such as the use of capacitive buttons instead
of a physical home button up front which also doubles as a fingerprint scanner
on the Xiaomi. The positioning of the front camera and sensors are also
different. The Sharp M1 also uses a circular LED instead of the horizontal type
present on the Mi 5. The phone will be available in white and pink (to appeal
to the female folk).
