Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition
There are still three weeks away from Diwali festival,
but Chinese company Oppo wants to allow customers to ready their wallets for
its next product, the F1s Diwali Limited Edition. The smartphone has just been
introduced in India and will go on sale next week.
Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition won't be released in other
countries, so it will remain an Indian affair. The device will be available for
pre-order between October 8 and October 13 via Oppo Concept Stores.
Next week, on October 14, the smartphone will hit
shelves at major retailer Snapdeal, and customers will be able to pick it up
for just Rs 17,990 (US$ 270). Specs-wise, the F1s Diwali Limited
Edition is the same smartphone as the original model, which was launched in
India back in August. But if you don't remember anything about the device, here
is a quick recap to refresh your memory.
This Oppo's mid-range smartphone sports a
5.5-inch display that support HD (720p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla
Glass 4 coating for extra protection. Under the hood, there's a decent
octa-core MediaTeck MT6750 processor, complemented by a Mali-T860 MP2 graphics
processing unit and 3 GB of RAM. On the back, the phone packs a 13-megapixel
photo snapper with phase-detection autofocus, dual-LED flash and f/2.2
aperture, while in the front there's an impressive 16-megapixel selfie camera
with 1/3.1-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
There are 32 GB of storage inside, which can be
further expanded via microSD card slot. The phone is powered by a 3,075 mAh
battery and runs Oppo's ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The only
difference between the limited edition model and the original is the design of
the rear side of the former, which features a “gilded Diwali pattern” or a
flame. Also, the Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition phone comes with signatures
from brand ambassadors Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, as well as some Diwali
Elements theme inside the software.
