New Xiaomi Redmi 4A (rumor)
A couple of new Xiaomi smartphones have been
certified by the Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA.
Listed as 2016111 and 2016112, the devices have
almost identical specifications, including quad-core 1.4 GHz processor, 5-inch
HD display, 2GB/16GB memory configuration, and 13 MP/5 MP camera combo.
Weight and size of the devices are also same - 140g
and 139.9 × 70.4 × 8.5 mm - and a 3,030 mAh battery is there to keep the lights
on. Color options include Gold and Silver.
The only known area where the two devices differ is
expandable memory - while the Xiaomi 2016111 comes with expandable storage, the
2016112 doesn't - indicating that they could well be different variants of a
single phone.
