Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
Xiaomi has made official
the Redmi Note 4 smartphone. The device is powered by MediaTek's Deca-Core
Helio X20 SoC (clocked up to 2.1 GHz), and sports a 5.5-inch full HD display.
The phone comes in 2 GB/16 GB and 3 GB/64 GB
memory configuration, and packs in a 4,100 mAh battery. In terms of camera, the
handset features a 13 MP rear unit and a 5 MP front shooter. There's also a
fingerprint sensor on the back.
Measuring 151 x 76 x 8.35 mm and weighing
in at around 175 grams, the device runs Marshmallow-based MIUI 8. Featuring metal
unibody design, the phone is available in Silver, Gold, and Dark grey color
options.
As for price, the Redmi Note 4 carries a
tag of RMB 899 (US$ 135) for the 16 GB model and RMB 1199 (US$ 180) for
the 64 GB one. It will be available for purchase in China starting August 26 from Mi.com, Mi Home stores and through China Mobile’s online and
offline channels. There's currently no word on if and when it'll land in other
markets.
