Meizu Pro 6 Plus
Meizu will be
launching a new flagship smartphone on September 3rd in China. Talking about the upcoming
device, the teaser image hinted the device to launch under the Pro series, and
now we got even more information about the device. The device might be named as
Meizu Pro 6 Plus as the device resembles with the Pro 6.
Antutu revealed the specifications of
the device mentioned as Meizu M96. The device features a Quad HD (2560 x 1440
pixels) resolution display and comes powered by the Exynos 8890 SOC. This is
the same processor that powered popular Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge. It
includes 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that can be expanded with
MicroSD card slot. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with the
latest Flyme OS on top.
The device also comes with a 12 MP rear
camera and a 5 MP front camera. It will be the first smartphone from Meizu to
sport a curved display, that too its dual curved display. Recently, Samsung
Galaxy Note 7 came with dual curved display, and the upcoming Mi Note 2 is also
said to sport the same.
It sports curved Antenna bands on the top
and bottom rear edges; the Pro 6 is the first device to come with this new
design. The upcoming Apple iPhone 7 and LeEco Le 2S also rumoured to feature
the same curved antenna bands.
