Intex Aqua Sense 5.1

Intex has just launched a new entry-level smartphone in the form of the Aqua Sense 5.1. The phone comes as a successor of the Aqua Sense 5.0, which was launched in August last year. The new Aqua Sense runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and comes pre-loaded with several apps such as Follo, Matrabhasha, I-Store, OLX and Gujarat Lions.

The Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 sports a 5-inch display bearing a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor, coupled with a paltry 512 MB of RAM. The 8 GB storage can be further increased up to 32 GB by inserting a microSD card. The device offers a 2 MP rear snapper with an LED flash, and a 0.3 MP front shooter. Connectivity features include dual-SIM slots, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2,500 mAh battery keeps the phone alive.

The Aqua Sense 5.1 is listed on the company’s website for Rs 3,999. The phone comes in three hues – Champagne, Grey and White – and is expected to go on sale across channels in the coming days.
