Cubot Rainbow
Cubot Rainbow features a 5.0-inches 2.5D
touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (HD), which is sufficient
for daily usage. The 5.0-inches display fits into the dimensions that measure
at 142 x 72 x 8.8 mm and weights at 126 grams.
It is powered by
1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor, which consists of quad-core Cortex
A7 processor Mali 400 GPU alongside 1 GB of RAM memory. The internal storage of
Cubot Rainbow is 16 GB and it also
supports external storage expansion through microSD card.
This 5.0-inches device has a
13-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel
front-facing camera for both selfie and video calls. With the supportive LED
flash, users are able to capture brighter photos during the night and under low
light conditions. Furthermore, the LED flash is can be used as a flash light as
well.
Other key features/specs of this
smartphone are USB OTG, 3.5 mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, FM
radio, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Unfortunately, Cubot Rainbow doesn’t support
USB Type-C as it only has a microUSB port.
Cubot
Rainbow is compatible with GSM and WCDMA networks. This Cubot branded
smartphone supports dual-SIM, hence users are able to insert two SIM cards
together.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow version is the
operating system of Cubot Rainbow. As for the battery, it does come with
2,200 mAh of battery juice (non-removable). This Marshmallow flavoured
smartphone is available in black, white, gold and red colors and it costs
around US$ 70 over the internet.
