Blackview BV6000s
Blackview recently released a second
version of the BV6000, the Blackview BV6000s. The new device is a bit
underpowered compared to its predecessor, but it has enough power to support
everything you throw at it. And not only that, it is more power-efficient as
well.
More power-efficient means more hours of
daily usage available but it remains as rugged and tough as the BV6000. Other
than that, the company uploaded a video on YouTube with the two devices showing
their design and performance capabilities. In the video, you can also see that
the new device seems to carry a better LCD panel, as black colors are darker
than the BV6000.
The company also gave out to the press
two photos of the device submerged in a fish tank. The BV6000s is IP68
certified and it can prevent water from entering the inside of the phone for up
to 30′ in 1m depth of tap water (not sea water!). Apart from that, the only
differences between those two, are the MT6735A 1.3 Ghz Quad-core SoC instead of
the MT6755 2.0 Ghz Octa-core, 2 GB of RAM instead of 3 GB and 16 GB internal
storage instead of the 32 GB. On the camera department, the Blackview BV6000s
carries an 8 MP sensor on the back and 2 MP on the front.
The company has
organized a special sales event from August 9 until August 15 when the new
BV6000s will cost only US$ 129.99 instead of the original price of US$ 159.99. The
event will take place on Aliexpress and you can find it here. More detailed
information on the product can also be found on the official product page here.
