Alcatel One Touch Go Play

Ruggedized smartphones can fetch a pretty penny, but the recently revealed Alcatel One Touch Go Play is surprisingly affordable. Of course, the specs aren’t quite top-tier, but you’re getting a fairly good smartphone for the money. The Go Play sports a 5 inch HD display, Snapdragon 410 quad core processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Best of all, it’s IP67-rated, meaning it’s body is both dust-tight and is water-resistant under 1m for up to 30 minutes!

The Alcatel One Touch Go Play isn’t available locally yet, but the brand does have a presence here so we should see it hit local retailer shelves soon. While waiting, you can decide which of the fun color variants to order. If you’re in a rush though, it’s available directly from their international website. Just keep in mind you’ll be shouldering a number of import dues if you decide to go this route.
