Acer Predator Line-up
Acer has introduced a new
line of Predator device. Among the new products - Predator 17X laptop and
personal computer Predator G1 with GeForce from NVIDIA, who are willing to work
with virtual reality and support the appropriate device from the Oculus, HTC
Vive, OSVR and StarVR. Also demonstrated was a new gaming monitor with a curved
screen Predator Z1 with support from NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.
New laptop Predator 17X
combines the already well known to fans of features and improved performance.
It supports overclocking, and delivers the performance level desktop PC.
Novelty is equipped with the sixth generation processor Intel Core i7-6820HK,
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card, and cooling system with three fans. With
the power of overclocking gamers it will be able to receive up to 4.0 GHz
processor, up to 1310 MHz for the GPU and up to 3.7 GHz for the VRAM.
17.3-inch Full HD
(1920x1080) or Ultra HD (3840x2160) IPS-display laptop supports NVIDIA G-SYNC
technology, which ensures a smooth transfer of the image from the video. The
Predator 17X set type DDR4 memory frequency of 2133 MHz and up to three
SSD-drives with a SATA interface, set in array RAID 0. Killer DoubleShot Pro
allows you to share the Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi, so gamers can use Ethernet
to Wi- games Fi for communication and entertainment. Port Thunderbolt 3 creates
additional opportunities for docking stations, displays, storage devices and
supports up to two 4K displays at 60 fps. It is eight times faster than USB 3.0
and four times faster than USB 3.1, transferring data at speeds up to 40 Gbit /
s.
Predator 17X is equipped
with a new cooling system with three fans, which dissipates the heat as much as
possible and allows you to overclock the components to extreme values. To
produce Aeroblade fan located next to the graphics card, used by the world's
thinnest metal blade (0.1 mm), which mimic the behavior of the wing of an
airplane. This increases the speed of rotation, resistance and noise. Using the
"evaporation chambers," which are often used in server solutions for
high performance and efficient cooling and helps dissipate heat and allows more
components to disperse. The Predator 17X also used DustDefender CoolBoost and
technology, thanks to which the fans are automatically turned in the opposite
direction, which helps to remove accumulated dust and better heat dissipation.
Software PredatorSense from
Acer offers advanced configuration possibilities of gaming functions, in
particular modes of dispersal, profiles key macros and programmable buttons for
your favorite games, as well as adjustable lighting configurations. In
addition, the keyboard backlight Predator 17X is fully customizable, so players
will be able to modify and personalize the colors of light zones for certain
games or profiles.
The second innovation was
the desktop Predator G1, which is made in a compact 16-liter enclosure that
allows it to be used both at home and take to the away matches. Inside the
Predator G1 installed video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX (up to Titan X), Intel Core
sixth-generation processor and up to 64GB of RAM type DDR4. Gamers interested
in virtual reality can simply connect the headset to the virtual reality
Predator G1 and begin to explore new worlds.
As well as the use Predator
G1 Killer DoubleShot Pro technology, which automatically selects the fastest
network connection (Ethernet or wireless) and forwards all traffic with high
priority through the interface with maximum bandwidth, and standard traffic -
through another. This allows the passage of the highest priority traffic on the
most rapid and reliable channel. Software PredatorSense from Acer can be used
to verify and monitor key performance indicators system setup hotkeys and
adjust color adjustable backlighting Growl Lights on the front of the computer.
For added convenience, there are two pull-out stands for the headset on either
side of the computer will allow gamers to place G1 at the wall and at the same
time to use one of these stands.
With the support of G-SYNC
and 4K2K UHD new computer Predator G1 produces smooth images for high-precision
and clarity of games and movies, and audio adapter Creative Soundblaster X-Fi
MB5 with support for 7.1-channel audio provides surround sound. Predator G1 is
equipped with a productive hard disk up to 4TB (7200 rev / min) or solid state
drive up to 512 GB. Also, the computer has a standard port USB 3.1 Type-C of
the second generation, which allows you to connect peripherals and fast data
transfer.
Another novelty from Acer
became curved monitor Predator Z1-enabled G-SYNC technology. This model is
presented in versions with a diagonal of 31.5, 30 and 27 inches and the radius
of curvature of 1800R screen that allows you to fully immerse yourself in what
is happening on the screen. G-SYNC technology aligns the monitor refresh rate
to a powerful graphics processor, thereby eliminating image breaks.
30-inch model is equipped
with a wide display with a resolution of 2560x1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of
21: 9 and one hundred percent coverage of the sRGB color space. Through a
combination of quick response 4ms GTG (gray to gray) and a refresh rate of 200
Hz, this model creates a realistic image with maximum smoothness. Simultaneous
action scenes takes place without the annoying effects. Also worth noting is
the color settings support on six axes, allowing you to create smooth
transitions.

the new computers with support for VR.
Wide viewing angles (178
degrees) and a curved design Predator Z1 allows you to work with several such
monitors, ensuring view without blind spots. Tilt and height ergonomic stand
can be adjusted and to achieve the ideal viewing position, and hinge useful
function automatically selects the correct image orientation: portrait or
landscape. Quick release design allows you to disconnect the monitor from the
base and, if necessary, install it on the wall. In addition, inside the stand
