Online store Banggood has listed another
affordable smartphone for sale that goes by the name of Pepsi P1S. The retail
price of this smartphone is US$ 105.88 (708 Yuan) but during a special promotional
sale from July 7 to July 16, this smartphone is being sold at a price of US$ 99.89
which comes to around 668 Yuan. This special price is limited to 100 pieces of
Pepsi P1s.
Pepsi P1S runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop
out of the box. It features a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass 1080p display and is
powered by a MediaTek MT6592 octa-core chipset clocking 1.7 GHz. It comes
equipped with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage with storage expansion
support of 64 GB. It comes with a fingerprint sensor housed on the back as well.
Pepsi P1S supports 4G LTE connectivity
and features a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash in addition to a 5 MP camera for
handling video chats and selfies. It comes with all the usual connectivity
options like WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS. It is fueled by a 3,000 mAh
non-removable battery inside a 7.7 mm body and weighs 158 grams.
