Lava X50 features a 5.5-inches
touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (HD), which is sufficient
for daily usage. The 5.5-inches display fits into the dimensions that measure
at 155.00 x 71.80 x 8.80 mm.
It is powered by
1.3 GHz quad-core processor alongside 2 GB of RAM memory. The internal storage of
Lava X50 is 8 GB and it also
supports external storage expansion through microSD card.
This 5.5-inches device has an
8-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel
front-facing camera for both selfie and video calls. With the supportive LED
flash, users are able to capture brighter photos during the night and under low
light conditions. Furthermore, the LED flash is can be used as a flash light as
well.
Other key features/specs of this
smartphone are 3.5 mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi
802.11 b/g/n. Unfortunately, Lava X50 supports micro USB instead of the USB
Type-C that is popular among high end flagships.
Lava X50
is compatible with multiple LTE network bands. As a result, the device supports
at least download speed on 4G of 150 Mbps and upload speed on 4G of 50 Mbps. This
Lava branded smartphone supports dual-SIM, hence users are able to insert two
SIM cards together.
Android 5.1 Lollipop version is the
operating system of Lava X50. As for the battery, it does come with 2,800 mAh of
battery juice (removable). This Lollipop flavoured smartphone is
available in India for INR 8,699 price tag. If you live outside of India, the
device is unlikely to launch in the global market.
