Mobiles appears set to launch the Fashion Eye smartphone in India. The Karbonn
Fashion Eye is available on Amazon India, and is priced at Rs. 5,490. However,
there is no official announcement from Karbonn yet, and the smartphone has not
been listed on its website as well.

Amazon India mentions a FashionEye app that works alongside the smartphone,
however, details on this front are unclear. We'll have to wait for the official
announcement to learn more about the app and smartphone features.

Fashion Eye supports dual-SIM dual standby, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
It features a 5-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD IPS screen with 2.5D curved
protection and 294ppi pixel density.
It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core ARM
Cortex-A7 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. It offers 8 GB of inbuilt memory
which can be expanded via microSD card slot (up to 32 GB). Optics include an
8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash. It supports 1080p video recording
at 30fps, and has features like Face Detection, Smile Detection, Geo-tagging,
and Panorama mode. For selfies, it has a 3.2-megapixel camera at the front.
The Karbonn Fashion Eye packs a 2,000 mAh
battery which promises seven hours of talk time, and 200 hours of standby time.
Connectivity options includes 3G HSPA+ / 2G, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, A-GPS,
Wi-Fi dual-band, FM radio and Micro-USB port. There is no support for 4G
connectivity on this smartphone. The Champagne colour variant is only listed on
Amazon India for now.
The dimensions measure at 145x72x8 mm,
and the Karbonn Fashion Eye weighs in at 141 grams. Karbonn is giving away
one-year manufacturer warranty with the Fashion Eye, and six months manufacturer
warranty for in-box accessories including batteries.
