Acer has introduced its new TravelMate
X3 series with the launch of the TravelMate X349. It is a portable notebook
featuring an all-aluminum chassis with brushed metal design. The device sports
a sleek profile with an 18 mm waistline, and tips the scales at 1.53 kg. The
notebook runs Windows 10 Pro, and comes with a fingerprint scanner and supports
Windows Hello.
The Acer TravelMate X349 comes with an
LED backlit keyboard and a Precision touchpad. It sports a 14-inch full HD IPS
display that reclines 180 degrees. The notebook can be configured with up to
6th-gen Intel Core processors and up to 8 GB of RAM. It comes with up to 512 GB
of solid state drive storage, a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port, a USB Type-C port,
an HD webcam, and up to 10 hours of battery life. The laptop also supports the
optional Acer Dock that lets you connect up to two 4K displays.
The Acer TravelMate X349 portable
notebook will go on sale in North America in October, starting at US$ 649.99. It will be available in China, Europe, the Middle East, and
Africa starting September.
