Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro

A new device with two variants is spotted on TENAA with the model numbers SM-J3110 and SM-J3119. This will be the successor for Galaxy J3 (2016) that was launched in March in India.

The device will be called as Galaxy J3 Pro, and we expect it to be launched soon in China. While the SM-J3119 works only with China Telecom, the SM-J3110 support all the networks. This new device comes with a 5.1-inch AMOLED display, where the SM-J3119 sports Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and SM-J3110 settles for HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution display. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI laid on top and is expected to be upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Under the hood is an unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. It has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 128 GB via MicroSD card slot. The device sports an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera but the China Telecom variant comes with just 2 MP front sensor. It is backed by a 2,600 mAh battery that might not last more than a day of usage. This dual SIM device support 4G LTE and offers other basic connectivity features.

The Galaxy J3 Pro comes with same specifications as Galaxy J3 (2016). It measures 142.23 x 71.30 x 8 mm and weighs 138 grams. The device will be available in White, Black, and Gold color options. Unlike the Galaxy J3 (2016), the Galaxy J3 Pro comes with a textured back panel. The power button is on the right edge of the device while the volume rocker is placed on the left edge. Both the variants are also listed on the product support page on Samsung China website.
