Meizu MX5E
Meizu, the Chinese brand is all set to
launch the M3 Note tomorrow in China, which is the successor to the M2 Note.
But it looks like that is not the only handset which will be showcased at the
event, as the company has listed a handset named MX5E on their official
e-store. The handset has a similar specification and looks like a variant of
the MX5, which was launched last year. Priced at 1699 Yuan, this is the latest
higher mid-range handset from the brand.
The MX5E comes with a 5.5-inch Super
AMOLED display with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device packs a
3GB of RAM and option of 16/32 GB of storage space while the company hasn’t
specified about the expansion. But we think that it have a microSD card slot
like the original handset launched last year had. Powered by a MediaTek Helio
X10 Processor, MT6795T, it is an Octa-core processor, which is accompanied by a
PowerVR G6200 GPU for graphics processing.
Out of the box it would be running on
the Android Lollipop based Flyme 4.5 OS, it is custom skin by Meizu. In terms
of camera department, the device packs 16-megapixel image sensor with dual tone
LED Flash. There would be a laser assisting for focus. These are 6P lenses and
can record up to 4K resolution video. While the front facing camera is of
5-megapixel resolution, and it sports a f/2.0 aperture.
The connectivity options include Dual
SIM, where both SI cards support 4G connectivity, as well as also support 3G
HSPA+. Other options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and micro USB port. The
device measures 7.6mm in thickness and weight at 149 grams. All this is powered
by a 3,150 mAh capacity battery that supports fast charging with mCharge
technology.
