Intex Aqua Lions 3G


Intex Technologies on Monday debuted its new Lions smartphone series with the launch of the Aqua Lions 3G smartphone. Priced at Rs. 4,990, the smartphone is available to buy. The budget handset as per the company is designed for IPL cricket lovers, and is named after the Gujarat Lions - an IPL team owned by Intex.

The Intex Aqua Lions 3G is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, clubbed with 1 GB RAM.

The smartphone houses a 5-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also includes 8 GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32 GB). Weighing 172 grams, the Intex Aqua Lions 3G measures 145 x 71.5 x 9.5 mm and is backed by a 3,500 mAh Li-Po battery. The battery is rated to deliver up to 6-8 hours of talk time and 20 days on standby time. It also comes with a 'battery saver mode' that enhances the battery life by up to 50 percent. The connectivity options included in the handset are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and Micro-USB.


The Intex Aqua Lions 3G comes with some pre-loaded apps as well such as Intex Service, Follo, Opera Mini, Clean Master, NewsHunt, I-store, newshunt, Freecharge, Saavn, Hike messenger and more. It will be available in White, Grey and Champagne colour variants.
