Chuwi HiBook Pro
The original Chuwi HiBook is an
interesting midrange 2in1 tablet with goodies like full metal body, dualboot
Windows 10/Android 5.1 or interesting optional magnetic docking keyboard.
Using
only the Cherry Trail Atom-X5 Z8300 it maintains reasonable price and currently
you can get it around US$ 180-200 at international resellers.
For the nitpickers it has a weakness
though with the usage of “only” FullHD resolution (1920×1200 pixels) on its
10.1-inch screen. All the higher resolution lovers can rejoice now, because
Chuwi has just released an updated version with Chuwi HiBook Pro and the
display gets bumped up to 2560×1600 pixel screen, meaning 298 PPI. Everything
else stays the same so the screen is OGS and fully laminated so no reason to
worry about that.
Rest of the specs like 4 GB RAM, 64 GB
storage or USB Type-C port remains untouched, the only adjustment is slightly
larger battery capacity. The upgrade from 6,600 to 8,000 mAh will hopefully
provide the needed extra power for the hungrier display.
Chuwi HiBook Pro is so far available
only in the chinese distribution channels for a price around 1199 yuan (US$ 183).
