ASUS Echelon X One
Till date, we have seen many concept
phones that look far from becoming realistic. Now the Asus Echelon X One is one
more device that can be added to that list. While we aren’t expecting this to
be launched by the company, the mentioned design looks totally different from
the current form factor of Asus devices.
Earlier the company has launched Echelon
branded gaming accessories and the mentioned device might fall under this same
category. The Echelon X One comes in both Black and Silver colour options. It
comes with a metal built body while none of the earlier launched Asus
smartphones came with an all metal body.
The bottom right on the rear can be
removed to insert the SIM cards and MicroSD cards. The removable flap comes
with a matte finish to provide better grip. It also has the large A symbol and
a small Asus logo. On the rear, we can also find primary camera placed in the
top centre position and the Intel Inside logo in the middle.
The dual LED flash and Laser Autofocus
are placed on the each side of the camera sensor. Just below the camera, there
is a circular shaped fingerprint sensor. Coming to the front, there are four
capacitive touch buttons placed below the display. On the top of the display is
a front-facing camera along with an LED flash and a small Asus logo.
Talking about the specifications, the
Echelon One X features an IPS LCD display and is powered by an Intel processor.
It has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The device comes with Gorilla
Glass 5 protection and runs on Android 7.0 OS. The stereo speakers are placed
on the bottom edge of the Echelon X One.
In the camera department, there is 16 MP
rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. As said earlier, both the cameras are
accompanied by an LED flash. While the design of the Echelon One X looks
interesting, unfortunately, we will never this device launching by Asus.
