The Firefly Mobile S10 Lite isn’t just
affordable, it’s the most affordable smartphone in the market, even beating
out Cherry Mobile’s Firefox phone that at one point retailed for PHP 999.
So how
much is the S10 Lite? The sticker price is a sweet PHP 899, which should easily
put it within reach of the masses. The S10 Lite sports a modest 3.5 inch
Super Brite display and comes with a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A7 processor, 256 MB RAM,
and 256 MB of internal storage. It also comes with 2 Mp cameras on the front and
back, and is powered by a 1,400 mAh battery. Interestingly enough, network
connectivity wasn’t specified, but at this price point, it likely only supports
up to 2G networks and data speeds.
Okay, so with those specs, the Firefly
Mobile S10 Lite performs more like a feature phone than a smartphone. Still, if
you’re looking to gift a loved one with their first smartphone, the S10 Lite is
a nice, inexpensive phone to start with.
