Onda Obook 12
Convertible Notebook
It seems that Onda is preparing to
launch a new convertible notebook in the form of the Onda Obook 12 which has
been spotted over on the Aliexpress website although pricing for the new system
seem to be a little vague at the moment with prices ranging from US$ 435 - US$ 530 on
different sites.
The specifications for the new Onda
Obook 12 are listed as including a 12.2 inch touchscreen IPS display with 178
degree viewing angles that provides users with a resolution of 1920 x 1200
pixels and can be flipped 360 degrees to transform the notebook into a tablet
device when required.
The system is powered by Intel Atom
x7-Z8700 Cherry Trail processor, supported by 4 GB of RAM and includes 64 GB of
internal storage and comes supplied running Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 home
operating system. The system is also equipped with a 2 megapixel front facing
camera and connectivity support for Bluetooth 4.0 and wireless 802.11 b/g/n.
Other features of the convertible
notebook include a 30 Wh battery, together with ports for USB 3.0, USB 2.0,
micro USB, HDMI and a handy microSD card reader for further memory expansion
