Lava V2s


Lava's new V2s smartphone has gone on sale via third-party online retailers in India. Priced at Rs. 7,899, the Lava V2s is yet to be officially revealed by the domestic handset maker.

The Lava V2s sports an 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash which is a highlight of the smartphone at this price point. The smartphone also packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. Another notable feature of the Lava V2s is its 4G connectivity and support for Indian LTE bands.

At this price point, the Lava V2s will compete against the Intex Aqua Glam, priced at Rs. 7,690, which also sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, the Lava V2s is said to be upgradable to Android v6.0 Marshmallow. It features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi. The dual-SIM device is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with 8 GB of built-in storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32 GB). The handset is backed by a 2,500 mAh battery. It measures 141.6 x 70.8 x 8 mm and weighs 129 grams.

At the time of writing, the Lava V2s was not listed on the company's site. Currently, the handset is listed in just Icy White colour and is now available to buy via Amazon India.
