Oppo A30
The A30 has been listed on Oppo's
official website for China, and, in all regards, it's identical to the white
OnePlus X. That obviously makes you think that the oft-rumored close ties
between the two companies are indeed true. Why else would OnePlus let Oppo sell
what is basically just a rebranded.
The Oppo A30, like the OnePlus
X, comes with a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash,
an 8 MP selfie snapper, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset (with a 2.3 GHz
quad-core Krait CPU), 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, 4G LTE, and a 2,525 mAh
battery. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Its dimensions are 140 x 69 x 6.9 mm,
and it weighs 138 grams.
The Oppo A30 hasn't been priced yet, but
a rumor out of China says we should expect it to cost CNY 1,999 (US$ 306 or € 275). It's unclear if it will ever be officially sold
internationally, especially given the fact that you can already buy the OnePlus
X in many countries, and for less cash - US$ 249 or € 269.
