LG Spirit 4G LTE

LG had partnered with Reliance Retail in early November to sell their VoLTE enabled devices LG Spirit 4G LTE and LG G4 Stylus 4G in India. After almost one and half month, the company had officially launched the LG Spirit 4G with the model number LG-442 in the Indian market. This is the same device that was announced way back in February this year with and without 4G LTE support.

It packs a 4.7-inch HD In-Cell display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. It has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and a MicroSD card slot. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with LG’s own UX UI overlaid and it includes special features like Glance view for notifications on turned off the screen and Gesture Shot for capturing pictures in the camera app of the device.

The phone comes with an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 1 MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies. It also uses retina flash kind technology that brightens the display to capture decent selfies even in the dark. On the design perspective, it is again similar to the other LG devices, where we see the physical buttons on the back, just like in LG G2 and G3.

It measures 133.3 x 66.1 x 9.9 mm and feels light in hand by weighing just 120 grams. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and is backed by a 2,100 mAh removable battery. By using the VoLTE, the calls can be connected fastly and can be switched seamlessly between an audio call and a video call. The device is available at Rs. 11,900 while the MRP of the device is Rs. 13,000. It comes with two color options – Black and Gold and can be purchased from any of the Reliance Retail stores across the country.
