ZTE
Mighty 3C
ZTE
announced a new low-cost 4G LTE smartphone called ‘ZTE Mighty 3C.’ Earlier this
year, the company had launched the most affordable 4G LTE smartphone ZTE Blade
Qlux 4G in India at just Rs. 4,999. The latest Mighty 3C comes with better specifications
and is priced at 499 Yuan (US$ 79 / Rs.5,100).
It
sports a 5-inch FWVGA (854×480) display with a pixel density of 196ppi. The
device comes powered by Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno
304 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. The device is built out of plastic with glossy finish
on the back which can attract a lot of fingerprints. It comes with 8 GB of
internal storage that can be further expandable up to 32 GB.
The
device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Nubia 3.0 UI. It supports dual SIM
dual standby and as said earlier it offers 4G LTE connectivity. Coming to the
camera, it has a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera.
With all these entry-level specifications, the 2,500 mAh battery can give 10
hours of talk time and last up to 250 hours on standby. It measures 9.45 mm
thick and weighs 170 grams.
The
company is also expected to unveil its high-end smartphone Nubia X8. The leaked
images of the device suggest the fingerprint sensor to be integrated into the
power button which we have earlier seen on the Sony Xperia Z5 series of
devices. The volume rocker buttons might be touch sensitive since there are no
physical buttons.
It
is rumored to sport a 6-inch bezel-less display with Quad HD resolution. The
device might sport 4 GB of RAM and will be available in two variants with 32 GB
and 64 GB of internal storage. There will also be a fingerprint sensor for
securing the device.
Talking
about the device, the Mighty 3C is already available for sale, and there is no
news about the launch of this device in the other Asian markets. Stay tuned for
information regarding the device in the coming days.
