Nigerian
brand Tecno has officially launched its smartphone in Nigeria, the Tecno Camon
C8. The Tecno Camon C8 is a middle range Android smartphone with 4G LTE support.
Tecno
Camon C8 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution (HD).
The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM
memory. The internal storage of Tecno Camon C8 is 32 GB and there is a microSD
slot for further storage expansion.
The
rear-facing camera of Tecno Camon C8 is a 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash
and auto focus alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both front and
rear-facing cameras feature CMOS image sensor for better image quality. Other
notable features of Tecno Camon C8 are USB OTG, multiple
sensors, 3.5 mm audio jack, microUSB port, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz).
The
Tecno Camon C8 smartphone supports FDD-LTE, WCDMA and GSM of network types. The
device supports maximum download speed on data of 150 Mbps and maximum upload
speed on data of 50 Mbps due to its LTE support. Tecno Camon C8 is a dual SIM
smartphone and has two SIM slots.
The
Tecno Camon C8 is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop version of operating system
and comes with a 3,000 mAh battery. Tecno
Camon C8 will be released in the Nigerian market.
