Huawei Holly 2 Plus

Huawei is allegedly very close to unveiling the Honor Holly 2 Plus smartphone. This is said to see the light of day at a special event scheduled for January 28 in New Delhi, India. On the same occasion the Chinese company should also launch the already official Honor 5X in the subcontinent.

Like the original Honor Holly from 2014, the Holly 2 Plus will be a lower-midrange affair. That said, it will come with improved specs when compared to its predecessor.

The new phone should sport a 5-inch IPS 720p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie shooter, a 64-bit chipset with a 1.3 GHz quad-core CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, 4G and CDMA support, dual-SIM functionality, and a 4,000 mAh battery.

It will obviously run Android underneath Huawei's own EMUI, but it's not yet clear which software versions we should expect. Pricing hasn't been leaked, but given the specs, its plastic body, and the lack of a fingerprint scanner, the Honor Holly 2 Plus can't be too expensive.
