Gionee
has been rather proactive in the recent past. After announcing the flagship
Elife E8, the company also launched a few other entry-level and mid-range
phones aimed at developing markets.
The
Elife S series, on the other hand, sits somewhere in between the entry-level
phones of Gionee and the high-end flagships with mid-range specifications and
high-end design.
As
for the specifications of this phone, it’ll be more entry-level than mid-range
(that is, as far as processing prowess is concerned) with an MT6735 processor,
2 GB of RAM, 16 GB on-board storage and a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720p display. The Elife
S6 will run Android 5.1 with Amigo 3.1 on top of it.
With
a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, the Elife S6 is said to have a 5 mega-pixel sensor
on the front and a 3,150 mAh battery.
