55 Platinum has been launched with a price of 129.99 Euro. However, the handset is listed in the company website without price
tag.
The Archos 55 Platinum features a 5.5-inches HD IPS touchscreen that
has 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution and is powered by a Quad-core 1.3 GHz
processor that is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It is equipped with 8 GB of internal
memory that is further expandable with up to 32 GB of microSD card. The device
boots from Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
The
Archos 55 Platinum houses a 13 MP of rear camera that features AF and LED
flash. There is also a 2 MP of front-facing snapper for selfies/video
calling. It is fueled by a 2,400 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the
device include 3G, 3.5 mm sound jack, Bluetooth, WiFi, mobile hotspot and GPS/A-GPS. It measures 144 x 72.6 x 8.7 mm and in weight it is 146 grams. The Archos
55 Platinum comes in Black and Blue variant colors.
