AOSD W105
The new 10.1-inch dual-OS tablet AOSD
W105 is taking orders these days for US$ 179, before it is launched on January 31.
AOSD is the least famous of the Chinese
tablet brands, and the AOSD W105 has specs similar to its rivals. Apart from
the processor though, since this tablet runs the Intel Atom Z3735F processor.
Other than that it has 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, with 64 GB microSD card
support. The two operating systems included are of course Windows 10 and
Android 5.1. The 10.1-inch screen has HD resolution of 1280 x 800 on an IPS
panel.
The battery capacity seems better than
on most Chinese tablet brands, with a battery capacity of around 7,900 – 8,000
mAh, which may be good for up to 8 hours. This tablet has 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi,
and Bluetooth 4.0, a 2 MP front camera and a 5 MP rear camera, a micro-USB 2.0
port and a micro-HDMI port.
The price isn’t bad for the tablet
itself, but then again it will probably only appeal to those who really need a
10-inch dual-OS tablet, since there are better Android tablets around for the
same money, like the Full HD Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70, and few will want the Bay
Trail processor on a Windows 10 tablet I imagine, unless they have very
particular reasons for just that.
