Philips Xenium V377
Philips
has been active in launching smartphones from the last couple of months. New device dubbed as Philips Xenium V377 with
basic specifications and power packed battery is all set to launch by the end
of this month in Russia.
It
comes with a huge 5,000 mAh battery that can give 29 hours of talk time and
lasts up to a month on standby. According to the company, it can play 3,150
audio songs on a single full charge. On the left edge of the device, we can
find the physical button for quick switching to the power saving mode for
further extending the battery life of this massive battery.
Apart
from the battery, the other specifications aren’t that impressive. It has a
5-inch IPS display with HD resolution and is powered by the MediaTek MT6580
quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. There is 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal
storage along with MicroSD card slot. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop
with Philips’s own UI on top of it.
It
comes with an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash; and on the front,
we can find a 2 MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. The device
supports dual SIM dual standby but lacks the 4G LTE connectivity. The available
connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS and MicroUSB
2.0. With the huge 5,000 mAh, the device measures 10.9 mm thick and weighs 188.5
grams.
The
device also supports Miracast for viewing the captured videos and images
directly on TV. The device is expected to be made available in Russia by the
end of this month. It will be priced at 8990 rubles (US$ 130).
