The Chuwi Vi8
Plus is now official and is being touted as the first Windows 10 tablet to
have a USB Type-C port.
The Vi8 Plus could definitely be the
first sub-US$ 100 device in history to have the Type-C port. The Chuwi Vi8 Plus has an Intel Cherry
Trail X5 Z8300 1.84 GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB on-board
storage. The screen is as the name suggests 8 inches wide diagonally with a
resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Other specs of the tablet include a 2
mega-pixel rear camera, a front camera with the same resolution, and a 4,000mAh
battery. As mentioned, the tablet runs Windows 10 out of the box and has a USB
Type-C port.
For US$ 97 shipped worldwide (on
Geekbuying.com), the Vi8 Plus looks like quite a deal.
