Meitu V4


Today, the Meitu V4 was officially unveiled by the manufacturer. The first question you probably have is about the rear camera. Yes, the shooter that graces the back of the phone also weighs in at 21 MP. The handset is equipped with a 5-inch AMOLED display, carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6795 SoC. This is a true octa-core CPU with eight Cortex-A53 cores inside. The PowerVR G6200 GPU handles graphics. 3 GB of RAM is aboard, along with 64 GB of internal memory. Pre-installed on the device is Android 5.1, with MeiOS2.5 running on top.

The Meitu V4 supports 4G LTE connectivity, and will be offered in white with pink accents, light turquoise, and pink. The design is called a "double V" and the top and bottom of the device is made of metal. The phone is priced at the equivalent of US$ 548.


The manufacturer also introduced an updated version of its flagship phone. The Meitu V4s features a 4.7-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. That works out to a 312 ppi pixel density. The MediaTekMT6752 SoC is under the hood, with 3 GB of RAM inside. The device offers 64 GB of internal storage. Both back and front cameras are 13 MP with an f/2.0 aperture, and a 2160 mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android 4.4 is pre-installed with MeiOS2 on top. This model is priced at the equivalent of US$ 376.
