LG Nexus 5X


Google has officially unveiled its latest smartphone of Nexus series – the LG Nexus 5X aka Google Nexus 5X. The new LG Nexus 5X smartphone is among the first two smartphones that running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. 
   
        
LG Nexus 5X smartphone has a 5.2-inch LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution (FHD) and 423 ppi. It is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 808 MSM8992 hexa-core processor based on Cortex A57+Cortex A53 as well as Adreno 418 GPU and 2 GB of RAM memory. LG Nexus 5X is available in two versions – 16 GB and 32 GB. However, there is no microSD slot for storage expansion.   
   
The 5.2-inch smartphone features a 12.3-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-tone LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calls. Both cameras are equipped with CMOS image sensor for better camera experience. Other key features/specs of LG Nexus 5X smartphone are USB OTG, USB Type C, NFC, 3.5 mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. 

            
LG Nexus 5X is compatible with 4G LTE networks. The device supports maximum download speed on 4G of 300 Mbps and maximum download speed on 4G of 50 Mbps due to the LTE Cat. 6 (market dependent). LG Nexus 5X is a single SIM smartphone and uses nano-SIM.          

LG Nexus 5X is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow version of operating system and comes with 2,700 mAh of battery juice (non-removable). One of the main selling points of LG Nexus 5X is the fingerprint scanner on the back.       

This Marshmallow flavoured smartphone comes in Carbon, Quartz and Ice colors. Google has revealed the prices of 16 GB – US$ 379 and 32 GB – US$ 429.
