Firefly
Mobile Allure 64 LTE
The
new Firefly Mobile Allure 64 LTE is already available in a number of the
company’s outlets and boasts 3 GB of RAM coupled with a finger print sensor for
less than PHP 8,000.
It’s
an iPhone 6 Plus look-alike but runs on an almost pure Android 5.0 Lollipop OS
out of the box. There’s a scratch resistant 5.5-inch screen and an octa core
chip for processing power.
The
Firefly Mobile Allure 64 LTE shares an OEM with the recently announced Ulefone
Be Touch 2 in China. The main difference between the two is the slightly lower
2,900 mAh battery.
Firefly
Mobile uses the term TRU HD to describe the Allure’s screen. Hopefully, that’s
a 1080p resolution. Nevertheless, there’s a 13 MP camera at the back with
backside illuminated sensor from Sony and an 8 MP snapper for selfies.
It
has dual SIM functionality and 4G LTE connectivity (FDD-LTE only) as well as
support for USB OTG. There’s 16 GB of on-board storage space and up to 64 GB of
additional storage using a microSD card.
Its
finger print can be used to unlock the device although it can take as much as
half a second to do so. On the other hand, the ample amount of RAM should
provide a very smooth Android experience.
