iPhone 6S Plus
The
new iPhone 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch Retina HD display with 1920x1080 pixels
resolution and 401 ppi. The iPhone 6S Plus has been added with 3D Touch
gestures such as Peek and Pop, in addition to familiar Mult-Touch gestures like
Tap, Swipe, and Pinch. It is powered by new Apple A9 processor, which has 70%
faster CPU and 90% faster GPU.
The
main camera of iPhone 6S Plus is 12-megapixel iSight camera with 1.22µ pixels,
Optical Image Stabilization (for iPhone 6S Plus only), Autofocus with Focus
Pixels, f/2.2 aperture, True Tone flash and 5-elements lens alongsinde an
8-megapixel FaceTime camera. Both cameras can record 4K video recording. Other
key features/specs of iPhone 6S Plus smartphone are iBeacon microlocation,
3.5 mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (dual
band).
The
iPhone 6S Plus is compatible with 4G LTE networks. The device supports maximum
download speed on 4G of 300 Mbps and maximum download speed on 4G of 50 Mbps due
to the LTE Cat. 6 support (different models). iPhone 6S Plus is a single SIM
smartphone and has one Nano-SIM slot.
iPhone
6S Plus is running on new version of iOS 9 with improved features such as
animation wallpaper, improved Siri and news app. The new 5.5-inch iPhone has a
2,915 mAh non-removable battery. The dimensions are 158.2x77.9x7.3 mm and is
weights at 192 grams.
Other
than the Force Touch display and animation wallpaper, Apple has improved the
iSight camera from 8-megapixel to 12-megapixel while the FaceTime camera has
been improved to 5-megapixel. The home button has the second generation TouchID
fingerprint scanner, which is faster.
The
new iPhone 6S Plus is available in three models 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB while
the colors are Space Gray, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold. The Apple iPhone 6s Plus will start at US$ 299 for the 16 GB version,
while the 64 GB and 128 GB will retail for US$ 399 and US$ 499, respectively. These
prices are with a two-year contract on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, or Sprint
in the US.
The
off-contract prices are US$ 749, US$ 849, US$ 949 for the iPhone 6s Plus for 16, 64 and
128 GB options. The EU prices begin at € 849 (£ 619 in UK) for the base 16 GB
version, but prices will quickly rise up if you go for the versions with more
storage. € 959 (£ 699) will get you the 64 GB version, while the 128 GB version
will cost € 1,069 (£ 789).
The
iPhone 6s Plus pre-orders commence on September 12 and shipments being on
September 25 for Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan,
Puerto Rico, Singapore, UK and the US.
